The Kensington Valley Hockey Association (KVHA), a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Organization, is a kid centric organization focused on creating the best possible hockey and life experience for players at every level!  The KVHA is run by a 6 person elected KVHA Board of Directors, a paid hockey director and several volunteer appointees.

The Directors consist of individuals donating their time and talents to promote the sport of youth hockey for the benefit of our players, their families and our local community.

The Board of Directors is responsible for the overall Association program and administering the policies and procedures of the Michigan Amateur Hockey Association and USA Hockey. They meet once per month throughout the year (third Monday of every month at 730pm in Brighton) and assist with Try Hockey for Free, House conditioning/evaluation/draft skates, District/State Tournaments and other events.   Without them we would not be a success!

Teams will be provided a door code to unlock the space for team use and the area will be under video surveillance at all times.

The space will be available on a rotating schedule basis around a team's regularly scheduled ice time.
Additional times can be scheduled if the room is available.

The entire space will now be part of the KVHA and is to be used specifically for KVHA Teams only.
This will serve as a team space for meetings, warm ups, film review and more.
Teams can also utilize the KVHA Boardroom for film review, which can be accessed through the space.

There will be no weights or other weighted equipment available in the space to use.
No shooting, pucks, balls, or sticks are allowed upstairs.
No food is allowed either.
Teams are not able to use the space for non-KVHA activities unless authorized.

EQUIPMENT DONATIONS

We are fortunate to have a large hockey community who is always outgrowing equipment and looking for a place to donate it.

KVHA only accepts equipment donations for small children for our Learn to Play program.

Below are some of the programs who might be able to use your gently used equipment.  Please also support these organizations with a monetary donation to spread the joy of hockey!

PLEASE NOTE: When donating items, please be sure that items are clean and in good condition.  Helmets have an expiration date and expired HECC dated helmets cannot be used.  As well, please do not donate personal items, such as jerseys, undergarments, sports cups and mouth guards.
