Our KVHA Tier 3 Spring hockey program, sponsored by BIGGBY Coffee, focuses on rules of the game and on development while providing a fun short season for those who play hockey year-round or those who come back to hockey in the Spring.   Our goal is to help as many players as possible who wish to play find a team, while teaching them to be a good teammate, how to set goals and helping them have fun reaching them!   Our hockey family grows stronger and larger each season, and we hope you will join us in creating lifelong friendships at the rink!

KVHA SPRING 2026 HOCKEY PROGRAMS SPONSORED BY BIGGBY COFFEE

HOUSE HOCKEY REGISTRATION FOR THE 2026 SPRING SEASON WILL OPEN MID-FEBRUARY 2026

Players must move up to their new age classification/division in the Spring season.

6u Mini Mite - 2020 & 2021
8u Mite - 2018 & 2019
10u Squirt - 2017 & 2016
12u PeeWee - 2015 & 2014
14u Bantam - 2013 & 2012

THE SPRING SEASON WILL BEING AFTER EASTER, WHICH FALLS ON APRIL 5, 2026

TEAMS WILL SKATE ONE WEEKDAY and ONE WEEKEND - DAYS/TIMES TBD

Our 6u and 8u program is sometimes combined for the Spring depending on the number of players and teams that we have.  We strive to have at least 4 teams that rotate and play each other through the spring season in house with no travel.   They skate twice per week with one of those being a half-ice game with an A and B side.

Typically, for the 10u and older teams, Spring hockey is a mix of practices and scrimmage games with local opponents; there is no organized league for Spring.   Teams will skate on average twice per week with a possible third day if an away game is scheduled.

We typically will have two or three 10u, one 12u and one 14u co-ed teams.   We will also plan on putting together a Ravens 8u, 10u and 12u or 14u Tier 3 all girls team.

Our 14u house team will likely participate in the Livonia Spring House League with the majority of games taking place at the Eddie Edgar Ice Arena in Livonia.  The 10u and 12u teams are also eligible to participate but this will be decided at a later date.

The cost for each program will be published by mid-February at the time when program registration opens.  All anticipated fees are included in the cost for the program

If you are trying out for a travel team, it is recommended that you wait to register for the house program until after tryouts take place.

All requested refunds are subject to an administrative fee of $50 for 6u/8u team and $75 for 10u and older teams.
