Welcome to the 2024-2025 hockey season!
Dear KVHA Families –
Welcome to an exciting new hockey season! The Kensington Valley Hockey Association is thrilled to have your family join us for what promises to be an incredible journey of teamwork, skill-building, and sportsmanship. Whether this is your first season, or you are returning veterans, we’re excited to have your energy and enthusiasm on board.
As our players hit the ice and showcase their hard work, we cannot wait to cheer them on alongside you. Parents, please display class, sportsmanship, and respect of officials during the season. Let us set the example not only for our players, but for all other associations in the State of Michigan.
Coaches and Managers, thank you! Your selflessness and dedication to player development is what drives our success. The time you spend on and off the ice does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. Your players look up to you. Be the exemplary model bringing enthusiasm and love of the game that will shape your players who embark on their own coaching journey many years from now. Our association has a wealth of hockey knowledge. If you ever find yourself in need please do not hesitate to ask
The staff of our partners at the Biggby Brighton Ice Cube and Hartland Sports Center works hard to prepare the ice, locker rooms and common areas so please be mindful of this by helping keep our rinks clean and welcoming for our guests and opponents. More improvements to the rink are coming and I am happy to report that work will begin on the Brighton parking lot this week and we ask that everyone navigate their way with care, as there will be alternate routes in the parking lot.
Your support is invaluable and helps create a positive, spirited environment for our players. As we launch special events designed to keep everyone engaged and motivated, we encourage you to stay connected with us through our communications and social media channels. We are planning a Pink Out for October 26th and we hope that everyone will participate in some way as also looking forward to partnering with Bountiful Harvest this holiday season.
