KVHA 2023-2024 Holiday Newsletter
The Kensington Valley Hockey Association Board of Directors wishes you a holiday season filled with love, joy, and laughter as you enjoy the moments with family and friends and take time to relax as we start the second half of the hockey season.
District Credentialing takes place for many of our teams in just two weeks, which means that playoffs are right around the corner. We look forward to following our teams throughout the playoffs and wish everyone a successful remainder of the season!
MID-SEASON COACHING EVALUATIONS
At this time of the season, we look to our families to provide feedback about their experiences this season. The evaluation focuses on coaching, but also includes some questions that will shape the future of KVHA. This is the single most important thing you can do to help KVHA improve!

DO YOU HAVE A SPECIAL HOCKEY PLAYER OR WISH TO GET INVOLVED IN A PROGRAM FOR DISABLED CHILDREN IN OUR LOCAL AREA TO EXPERIENCE THE JOYS OF HOCKEY?
Email office@kvhockey.org or visit Hockey Challenge Camp on Facebook to learn more! Thanks to Dr. Sarah Dunkel-Jackson for leading our new Special Hockey committee!!
As we close out 2023, we want to thank everyone for your support and for representing our KVHA family humbly and with pride. We recently became aware of the possible sale of the Kensington Valley Ice House to the Black Bear Sports Group. As this is a business transaction outside of the Kensington Valley Hockey Association, minimal information has been provided and we will avoid commenting on rumors until more facts are provided. For now, hockey programming through KVHA continues as normal and is expected to do so for the remainder of the 2023-2024 season. Once we learn of and discuss any concrete information it will be shared with our membership. Regardless, we are expecting a bright future filled with greater opportunity for all our players and families and continued growth of the sport of hockey for our local community!
Cheers to a New Year full of health, wealth, happiness, and success!
