KVHA 2024-2025 Season Registration is now open!

Good Afternoon KVHA Families –

Thank you again for being a part of the KVHA this Fall or Spring Season.   We are coming up on our 25th anniversary (June 2025) as an association and hope that you will continue to be a part of our hockey family!  This Fall season everyone can look forward to coming back and seeing more improvement at the rink plus the KVHA will be taking over the space above the lobby for our teams to use.  We are excited for everyone to get some use from it!

KVHA Registration is open for the 2024-2025 season and all players must be registered in order to be rostered to their teams.  All player, coaches and team managers must be registered with USA Hockey for the 2024-2025 season as well, so please do this prior to completing your KVHA registration.  You will need your child’s number to register, but you can also enter your number during registration to expedite rosters for the teams.

The cost for KVHA Registration this season has increased to $220 with early registration now through June 30.  On July 1st, the fee increases to $270.00;
After August 1 is $320 for late registration.   Teams that form later in the year may be offered a reduced fee for a limited time.

Please register early!  Registering early not only saves money, it allows teams to order and receive jerseys before the season begins, as teams cannot order jerseys until their entire team is registered with the KVHA.  This also allows us all to get ahead of team rostering to be ready on September 1.   As players register, they will automatically be placed on the Fall team in Teamsnap.  Please note that registration is also through Teamsnap so you will see a charge from them, not the KVHA, on your method of payment.

Boy’s Travel KVHA Rebels, Renegades & Raiders register here- https://go.teamsnap.com/forms/433769/signups

Girl’s Tier 2 & Tier 3 Ravens teams register here – https://go.teamsnap.com/forms/433764/signups.   We are fortunate to have a 14u Tier 3 and a 10u/12u Tier 3 Ravens team this season.  If we have enough, we will also split the 10u and 12u into two separate teams.   For the 8u and 6u girls, we recommend that the girls play on the BIGGBY Mini Mite and Mite teams as a primary team and we will have some girls only skates plus a Ravens 8u Select Team, where the girls will participate in the MGHL and some full ice scrimmages or tournaments as a part time opportunity, 2-3 times per month.    More information will be shared soon.

BIGGBY House/Recreational Hockey for birth years 2019 (6u) through 2010 (14u) register here – https://go.teamsnap.com/forms/406097/signups.  Our BIGGBY house programs will sell out so please be sure to register sooner rather than later if you are seeking a house team.   If the divisions sell out, we will start a waiting list and consider adding an extra team.  For all of the divisions there really is no way to determine how many teams we will have next season, as it varies from year to year based on how many kids register, how many are moving up from one division to another, how many kids make the jump from house to travel, and how many coaches we have to fill the spots. We will add as many teams as we need if we have enough ice time and coaches to support it.   You can learn more about our BIGGBY Coffee House Hockey program here.

We receive many questions regarding how registration fees are used.  100% of the KVHA fees collected are utilized to enhance everyone’s hockey experience, support our coaches and families, and promote youth hockey throughout the local community.  Most of your yearly season registration fee covers your player’s team jerseys and socks and we use the balance to cover other team expenses during the season, such as the league entry fees for all of our teams, coaching reimbursements for up to 4 coaches per team, the per game referee scheduling fees and also contributions to teams who compete at States and Nationals.   A complete list of ways we help our teams can be found on our registration page.  If you have any questions, please reach out to office@kvhockey.org, or any of the KVHA Board Members.

We wish you a safe and happy Summer and look forward to seeing teams back at the rink in August!!
