If your player is all about hockey but needs to work on specific areas, Summer training and extra ice time, whether open skating, sticks and pucks or more formal training/skills, will be beneficial.    The off-season is a great time for players to work on the individual and more technical aspects of their game and we recommend all of the options below for skills, power skating and overall hockey development.

Many options are offered at KVIH or Hartland but there are options offered at every local rink:

The Ice Den in Howell often has extra training options – https://www.140iceden.net/
Lakeland usually has the Larkin Hockey Camp- https://www.lakelandhockey.org/
Suburban Ice Farmington Hills and Lansing – Spring and Summer Hockey School are great and run by paid coaches
Power Skating is great for all players, as is treadmill skating

All in Stride Treadmill Skating, https://www.allnstride.com/
Breakthrough Skill Development hosts a decent shooting and defense skills camp at multiple locations.  They are coming to KVIH in July    https://www.sdhockeyllc.com/enroll/MI

We highly recommend Puckmasters in Wixom for one on one private sessions, or  two players can share a session.     https://www.puckmasters.com/
